Dare2Dance (D2D) is a ground-breaking project which aims to engage girls and young women aged between 14 and 24 in physical activity through the medium of Street Dance. D2D is a project conceived by independance and developed in conjunction with London South Bank University and Pro Active London, and initially funded by Sports England and The Mayors Fund.

With a company of the best female Hip Hop artists in the UK, we deliver Hip Hop dance days, lecture demonstrations, performances, ongoing training and the now famous “Battle of the Boroughs” Competition.

Since 2008, D2D has been developed a partnership with 27 of London’s Local Authorities and over 8000 young women have engaged with the programme.
